50^th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF THE SAN JOSE COIN CLUB 1947 - 1997

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the San Jose Coin Club' founding, a set of six 38.9mm medals and one wood were issued. The medals were issued in the following metals:

· Brilliant Silver

· Brilliant Copper

· Brilliant Aluminum

· Oxidized Copper

· Oxidized Bronze

· Brilliant Bronze

A single wooden nickel sized "wood" was also issued:

Note: Early Medals and Woods erroneously used '1946' as the founding date of the San Jose Coin Club. Subsequent research has shown that the correct date was 1947.
